Short Description
The Laboratory Manager oversees all technical, managerial and financial areas of the Flow Cytometry Laboratory. This laboratory primarily supports testing for the MD Anderson cancer patients, including cellular therapies. She/he is responsible for ensuring all regulatory requirements of the applicable agencies are met and compliance is ongoing.
Experience Required
Three to five years progressive clinical laboratory experience and/or related management experience preferred. |
Education Requirements
Completion of an accredited laboratory science program is preferred. Bachelor’s degree required for technical areas
Special Requirements
Excellent problem solving skills; ability to identify problems and offer solutions. | ||
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and respect opinions of others. | ||
Experience with Microsoft Office and other computer applications, including LIS. |
