RADIOLOGY FRONT OFFICE SUPERVISOR- FULL TIME

• For assigned locations, supervises the daily operations of the front desk
• Prepares monthly work schedule. Ensures time off requests are approved according to organizational needs
• Works to ensure the department is properly staffed to provide excellent customer service
• Addresses performance issues in a timely and appropriate manner
• Performs annual staff evaluations promptly and any counseling needed for direct reports.
• Works with Front Desk Coordinator and Lead Trainer to orient/train new employees
• Ensures all aspects of training are completed. Provides support and direction to new staff to ensure success
• For location assigned, develop expertise in the computer systems used, particularly the RIS, in order to train staff properly, troubleshoot technical issues and to ensure accurate data input and storage

• Previous management/supervisory experience required
• Previous experience in Customer Service required
• Medical office experience and knowledge of medical terminology a plus
• Must possess leadership skills.   Must be accurate and thorough in all aspects of the work
• Must be computer literate and able to quickly adapt to changing technologies
• Must have Excel/Word skills, or ability to become proficient quickly in these applications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required, some college preferred
