Assumes responsibility for record keeping, and intra-departmental and Inter-departmental communications.
Overview
Pavilion 7 is a medical-surgical unit that has a specialty focus on both orthopedic and neurological diagnoses. This 30-bed unit features 8 beds designed for our stroke population as part of Cooper University’s Comprehensive Stroke Center, as well as 3 EMU beds for seizure monitoring. Telemetry monitoring is available in 10 of the unit beds when needed.
he nursing staff provides caring, individualized attention to all patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with collaborative interdisciplinary team members.
Experience Required
Previous hospital unit secretary, medical office assistant or medical records experience preferred.
Additional unit-specific qualification may be required.
Clerical, communication and customer service experience a plus.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
License/Certification Requirements
Unit Secretary certification is desirable.
Special Requirements
Computer literate, comfortable with Microsoft Office software.
The New Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position.
A salary offer will vary based on the job role, candidate experience, qualifications, internal pay equity and market data.
