Short Description
- This position provides opportunities for growth and development as an independent investigator in NIH and other grant funded research and enhances professional skills in academia.
- Accountable to the Primary Investigator and Director of Grants and Research, this role conducts specific research projects related to Addiction Medicine Services in inpatient, outpatient, and community-service environments.
- The Research Scientist will provide intellectual and technical support to research programs and initiatives, including utilization of implementation of science approaches and best practice.
Experience Required
3-5 years' experience required.
Education Requirements
Master’s Degree required.
Doctorate Degree preferred.
Special Requirements
Biomedical Sciences/Biology/Life Sciences field of study.
Communication – Ability to communicate with patients, visitors and coworkers required.
Background in molecular biology and/or genetics preferred.
Published track records of working with pulmonary models of transgenic/knock out mice preferred.
The New Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position.
A salary offer will vary based on the job role, candidate experience, qualifications, internal pay equity and market data.
