Short Description
The Center for Healing within Cooper University Health Care is a leading Addiction Medicine provider within Camden County and Southern New Jersey. In 2024, the Center for Healing launched an Addiction Medicine Mobile Clinic that serves patients in the community, meeting them where they are at and helping to reduce barriers to treatment. This role will support the work of the Addiction Medicine Mobile Clinic by managing a variety of grant and project related activities. This will include:
- Scheduling, coordinating, and facilitating Addiction Medicine Mobile Clinic events.
- Mainitaing the Addiciton Medicine Mobile Clinic calendar, including ensuring the clinic is appropriately staffed at all times.
- Ensuring the Addiction Medicine Mobile Clinic is well stocked by maintaining inventories and procuring supplies.
- Leading continuous quality improvements (CQI) efforts for the Addiction Medicine Mobile Clinic.
- Managing all aspects of the grants that fund the Addiction Medicine Mobile Clinic:
- Tracking all grant related expenditures and monitoring the use of grant funds against the approved project budget.
- Ensuring grant deliverables are met according to funder contracts.
- Working with data analyst to develop data collection processes related to the Addiction Medicine Mobile Clinic and ensuring the submission of timely and accurate reports to funding agencies.
- Working with stakeholders and community partners to identifying and source new grant opportunities that match the goals of the Addiction Medicine Mobile Clinic.
- Preparing grant applications and proposals for submission to government, foundation, and corporate entities.
- Does not directly supervise staff, but will lead work of the team, and may supervise staff in the future.
- Support other Addiction Medicine projects and grants as needed.
Experience Required
3 - 5 years experience in community based project planning/management, organization administration, grant management, or related work.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in public health, Public Administration, Public Policy, Health Care Administration, Business Administration or related field.
Special Requirements
Knowledge, experience and success in managing projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to effectively diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex problems pertaining to the Division of Addiction Medicine, Division of Addiction Medicine project and grant operations, organization development, partner satisfaction, and change management.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are required; strong oral/written communication skills, including diplomacy and the ability to work with all disciplines, levels, and backgrounds, is also a must
