Short Description
Assists interventionalists in all procedures within the scope of interventional radiology and vascular surgery, but not limited to oncology, vascular and trauma.
Skill set must be maintained to handle supplies/instrumentation associated with interventional procedures. Adheres to all infection prevention policies, utilizing the appropriate PPE needed.
Experience Required
0-2 years' experience required.
3-5 years' experience preferred.
Education Requirements
High School/GED required.
Associate’s degree preferred.
License/Certification Requirements
AART required.
NJDEP required.
BLS from AMA required.
Special Requirements
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with on call.
- Graduate of AMA approved Radiology Technologist Program, NJ DEP license required upon hire.
- H.S. Diploma, Certificate of Completion/Degree from accredited Radiology Program or Vascular Program, associate degree preferred.
- Communication – Ability to communicate with patients, visitors and coworkers required.
- Operate fluoro unit along with all supporting equipment needed to perform interventional procedures required.
The New Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position.
A salary offer will vary based on the job role, candidate experience, qualifications, internal pay equity and market data.
