Short Description
Oversees all activities related to the use of the EMR outside of Cooper. Supports growth opportunities to expand Cooper’s footprint in the community. Governs the use of the EMR as it relates to integration approach with external entities
Oversees the Epic Community Connect program and development of program deliverables, including scope of Epic modules and workflows, program price models, and IT support model.
Manages the overall relationship between Cooper and Community Connect Affiliates; partners with Community Connect Affiliates to ensure satisfaction, engagement, and success.
Ensures Community Connect program is financially successful; oversees program budget and P&L analysis.
Monitors and manages all contractual, regulatory and legal obligations of the relationship between Cooper and the Community Connect Affiliates.
Facilitates internal Community Connect governance structure
Develop, coordinate and implement long term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the program.
Oversees and manages the Community Connect resources team, such as Customer Success Manager(s)
Oversees community strategy and is IT Partner for internal Cooper business partners to oversee and coordinate IT activities related to the following community initiatives:
• Cooper Care Alliance (growth & expansion)
• Joint Venture Relationships & External Partnerships (e.g., URG)
• Epic Care Everywhere and Epic CareLink Optimization & Best Practices
• HIE Strategy (e.g., Camden Coalition)
• Payer Strategies (e.g., Epic Payer Platform)
• Population Health Strategies
Experience Required
6-10 years
Experience with Epic highly desirable
Education Requirements
Bachelors preferred
Special Requirements
Communication – Ability to communicate with patients, visitors and coworkers
Excellent organizational, written and verbal presentation skills.
Must have strong relationship management skills and ability to demonstrates effective communication and partnership with senior management, clinical, administrative, revenue cycle and operational partners, vendors, and external healthcare organizations
Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Must be tenured healthcare professional and have worked in a healthcare environment.
Ability to provide leadership, vision and promote a culture of excellence and innovation.
Ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical and operational experience.
