Short Description
To ensure that clinical equipment is safe and functional to applicable specifications through inspections, Calibrations, and repairs as necessary.
To support the clinical staff in the use of instrumentation through in-service training, evaluation of proposed purchases, investigation of problems or incidents and any other help as needed.
To provide proper Documentation and assistance to the Director for compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements such as JCAHO and FDA.
Experience Required
3 - 5 years of experience in healthcare setting or equivalent.
Knowledge of a wide range of medical equipment preventive and corrective maintenance.
Mechanical and/or electrical background required.
Education Requirements
Associate’s degree or equivalent.
Special Requirements
On-call capable
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
The New Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position.
A salary offer will vary based on the job role, candidate experience, qualifications, internal pay equity and market data.
