Exciting Generalist opportunity, focused on Hematology, in support of MD Anderson Cooper Cancer Center.
3rd shift position responsible for performing routine and STAT diagnostic laboratory testing, both automated and manual, in a timely manner. Conducts testing in compliance with established policies and procedures, adhering to quality control and safety requirements.
Special Requirements
Scheduled Days / Hours: TBD
Bachelor’s degree and completion of an accredited medical technology program preferred. Alternatively, possesses qualifications for high complexity testing as evaluated against Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments ’88 (Code of Federal Regulations, Title 42, Part 493.1489) | ||
One year clinical laboratory experience preferred (Student experience acceptable.) | ||
Required License/Certifications/ Registration: | ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathologists) Registry preferred. | |
