Short Description
Lead, maintain, and improving the cybersecurity program by ensuring that information and associated information systems are adequately protected in the technology ecosystem in which we operate. Lead al day-to-day operations, functions, and capabilities related to technology security engineering. Subject matter expert in cybersecurity best practices across all technology domains. Responsible for operating and improving technology security engineering processes to secure and maintain technology.
Leads a team that identifies assets and assesses risks, threats, and vulnerabilities of those assets in accordance with accepted industry, professional, and government standards to ensure security confidentiality, integrity, availability, and non-repudiation compliance.
Manage the monitoring of cybersecurity data resources to maintain organization situational awareness.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the cybersecurity safeguards to ensure the approved the intended level of protection.
Supervise or manage cybersecurity incident responses to include corrective measures, after action review, and effective coordination with internal, e.g., senior executives, legal, marketing, etc.; and external, e.g., law enforcement, entities.
Monitor cybersecurity technologies to forecast plans of actions or remediation plans are in place for vulnerabilities identified during risk assessments, audits, inspections, etc.
Advise senior management on risk levels, cybersecurity posture, and changes in people, processes, or technology that will affect cybersecurity posture.
Design, integrate, and operation cybersecurity systems to protect networks, systems, infrastructure and data.
Manage a team performing cyber risk assessments, threat modeling, and risk mitigation for new and existing networks and systems.
Ensure that all acquisitions, procurements, and outsourcing efforts address cybersecurity requirements consist with Cooper goals.
Develops and maintains cybersecurity documentation
Experience Required
6-10 years experience required
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in IT ir equivalent work experience required

Scheduled Days / Hours: M-F
Required:
Communication – Ability to communicate with patients, visitors and coworkers
Practical work experience in implementing cybersecurity solutions
Knowledge of the current threat landscape, including common attack types and mitigation steps.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity policies, standards and industry leading practices
