The Advanced Practice Nurse assumes responsibility for advanced nursing practice within a clinical specialty. To provide, in collaboration with the neonatologists, inpatient care in the intensive care nursery.
In consultation with other members of the health care team, strengthens nursing practice and promotes positive patient outcomes.
Responsibilities include clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research.
The Advanced Practice Nurse serves as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in the inpatient, outpatient and community settings.
Scheduled Days / Hours: various;
Masters in Nursing (MSN)
Two years neonatal experience.
Required License/Certifications/ Registration:
Current AHA BLS certification
NCC certification required
Demonstrated competence in clinical area. Excellent written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills.
