Short Description:


To provide high quality, efficient medical care to patients in a clinical or non-clinical specialty. Service as an Advanced Practice Nurse in a collaborative and consultive manner with other members of the health care team, with a goal to proactively move patients through the systemand promotes positive patient outcomes.

Special Requirements:


Scheduled Days / Hours: Full Time - 36 hours weekly (Trauma - Surgery)

Education:

Master’s degree in Nursing is required.

Experience:

Must have successfully completed the applicable American Nurses Credentialing Center ANCC

certification examination for Advanced Nurse Practitioners (APN-C).

Required License/Certifications/ Registration:

Must hold licensure/registration as required in the state of New Jersey.

Acute Care certification

Current American Heart Association BLS & ACLS certification.

Takes and/or maintains certification in area of specialty, certain specialties may require advanced certification (i.e. ACLS,AHA,BLS, NALS, PALS).

Other Qualifications:

Must have critical thinking and organizational skills as well as strong skills in oral and written communications.

Must be able to effectively work with multidisciplinary team, as well as with patients and their families.

Must be calm and focused in environment of multiple demands, and use good judgment in emergencies.

Intermediate knowledge of and experience in use of tech knowledge.
