Short Description
Manages day to day operations of the department including timekeeping, payroll,
recruitment, prioritizing assignments, and training.
Escalates any issues that may impact the Volunteer department during the year
Ensures that all departments are staffed with volunteers they have requested and that
the resources are used effectively and smoothly
Experience Required
7 years’ experience in a hospital volunteer office, leadership role preferred
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent required, BA preferred.
Special Requirements
Strong commitment to excellent customer service.
Public speaking skills
Ability to coach, motivate, and develop staff.
Strong verbal and written skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
